Immunodeficiency

An immunodeficiency is a condition where one or more parts of the immune system do not work correctly resulting in an increased risk of infection. Most immune deficiencies you are born with, but others you can develop later in life.

It is important that immune deficiencies be identified as early as possible in order to prevent recurrent infections and to begin available treatment.
