Sublingual Immunotherapy (Allergy Drops)

Sublingual immunotherapy is administered under the tongue. It involves introducing small amounts of allergen to your body in order to make you less allergic. There are two forms: drops and tablets.

Tablets are currently available for some grasses, dust mites, and ragweed. Drops can cover many allergens. Your physician at Highland Park Allergy and Asthma Specialists can discuss the different options with you and together you can determine the right course of action for your life.
